Experiment With Paint Colour Combinations

Thinking of decorating your home and need some inspiration? Don't just stick with one paint colour, we will show you how to experiment with new colour combinations to create a modern and stylish look.

Little Greene are leading the trend and have published some great lifestyle images that show how to mix their existing historic shades with bold accents.

My current favourite has to be this Dark Blue living room which combines Celestial Blue, 101 Marine Blue 95 and Bronze Red 15.

And how stylish does this bedroom look with Basalt 221 on the wall a & orange aurora 21 as a highlight colour:

Ive always loved the Little Greenes Sage Green 80 (I have recently used in one of my clients bedrooms and it looks fabulous) and a great way to brighten it up is to add a splash of Mambo 112. I will have to see which piece of furniture I can attack with my paint brush

I love the fact he kitchen cupboards and the walls are painted in the same rich Hicks’ Blue 208. it makes the fabulous large Belfast sink and wooden worktop stand out. The Green Verditer 92 used on the stool has a lovely fresh hue.

Look how this splash of Marigold 209 along the skirting board lifts the whole of the room and gives it a modern edge. Grey teal 226 and Shallows 223 are used on the wall.

So feeling inspired!?! Get your paint tins opened and don't by scared to mix your colours and dont forget we love to see your photos! #Happypainting!
