This beautiful large white Amish Tin Star measures 29" and is handcrafted by Amish farmers in Lancaster County, USA.
The stars are made out of old salvaged tin corrugated roofs.
Amish tin stars are also know as barn stars and were originally added to building in the United States during the 18th century to represent the mark of the builder, but became more frequently used for aesthetic purposes and to bring luck.
The meaning of the White Amish tin star is: purity, power of the moon, allows energy to flow freely.
These stars are made by hand and no two are alike, so they will have different paint peeling, wear, and some rust.
The star is three dimensional and will sit flat against the wall when hung. It has a hook on the back for hanging.
They have a great primitive look and can be hung inside or outside.
