This fun and playful Plopp Stool in Flamed Gold is part of the Heat collection by Polish designer Oskar Zieta. The HEAT uses high temperature as a rarely used method of steel coloring. Excellent craftsmanship allows to achieve the desired tint and colouring, it brings out the hidden beauty of metal without the use of chemical dyes and reagents.
Plopp is a stool made of inflated metal that underwent authorial process of thermal colouring, which gave it a unique, golden tint.
This amazing stool echoes plastic furniture, but as it is made of steel it is light- weight, sturdy and long-lasting. Made using an innovative forming method – FIDU. FIDU technology means that two ultra-thin steel sheets are welded together around their edges and inflated under high pressure to give a 3d object.
The retro futuristic style of the metal stool is a very unique and revolutionary design, but it is very durable, tough and is a sign of better efficiency in design.
Available in 4 designs: Mini, Standard, Kitchen and Bar.
Since its market release, Plopp stool has been shown on many exhibitions around the world and has won many prestigious awards.
